well we re gapped the spark plugs in my buddies 99 si and now its still running like crap went from .044 to .032 and now its bogging even more and not boosting cant find a boost leak anywhere so its kinda stupifying. Anyone have any ideas?

 

gotta give more info. on the exact set-up. what fuel, what's tuning the system. etc., etc.

 

ya what injectors are you using, lbs of boost?, etc.

 

its a drag3 kit vortec fmu....stock injecters, was boosting at 6 psi normal 7 lb spring in a turbonectics WG...ran for 3 months with no problems then all the sudden started acting up on him bogging running overly rich ect... seems like its getting to much fuel like the fmu is stuck some how...it wil rev normal then at WOT it just bogs and chokes itself not throwing any codes im stumped i mean i checked over the piping no leaks and no vacume leaks i was gonna clean the EACV see if maybe this is causing it but the car doesnt have alot of miles to clog that up and looks clean....has any one had problems with a vortec fmu? i think this maybe causing problems

 

sounds like the FMU....ive had the VORTECH FMU get stuck open, as well as get stuck closed.

 

6psi with stock injectors?? hmmm....

 

I have had the factory fpr get stuck on my drag kit.. you might wan to check that.. .it causses similar results
