Yellow top in anything with a higher than stock current draw. Red Top in any stock replacement application.

I've drained a yellowtop DEAD 8 times and it's still fine. Finally installed a headlight warning LOL.

I used a Diehard Platinum for a while, when I had my full stereo. Ran it completely flat many a time, 10 years later and it's still fully functional. They don't make a Platinum in stock size, so you'd have to relocate. I also haven't actually used anything else (because it's been the only battery I've ever needed) so I can't really compare it to anything else.

Optima yellow top is pretty darn good. If you want better, you can always do a battery relocation and get something with a bigger form factor.

Is that battery good for temperatures from 70ºF to 100ºF, usually in the low 90's? I'm running a stock 2000 Civic with a D16Y8 engine, but planning on an engine swap to a B-series B18 later on, possibly turbocharged.

Deka, manufactured in PA. I believe its the last American made battery co. All others are now made overseas.

I had a pc680 had lots of trouble with it though. Now I have a kinetik in the same style works great. I bought a BT-20 and couldn't get any terminals for it that fit. Even bought the specific kit from them to fit a bt-20 and it must be for an older version of the battery.

Im in Ft Lauderdale. But I wrapped mine with reflective heat barrier as it gets hot under the hood.

Savings! They are almost the same size battery. Perfect for tucking under dash.

I just cut the normal OEM sized terminals and replaced with smaller terminals, then used wingnuts to tighten everything down..

Dont forget to use some die electric grease on the +/- ports as they will corrode like a normal battery.

Why would you need pics?

its pretty self explanatory.

Same terminals that one would use for an amp install kit.
