Need help with clutch
So today ive noticed that my ls tranny started to make a what sounds like a high pitched squeak. It happens when clutch is not pressed in, but once you press it in, the noise immediately disappears. You dont even have to press the clutch to floor to make the noise disappear, you can hardly press it at all and it goes away. Any thoughts, im thinking the most obvious throwout bearing but people said if the noise goes away when you press in the clutch, its a bearing inside the transmission. I just dont know cause you can just light touch the clutch and the noise is gone.
And one other symptom that may or may not be related, at high rpms literally right before redline, I hear what sounds like hundreds of metal pieces shooting around. dont know if that has something to do with tranny or not.
Thanks in advance

As for sll the clatter at high rpms. That doesnt sound good.
Remove your oil pan and see if you find metal pieces, also drain your trans fluid to see if metal shavings come out n

internal bearing. not throwout bearing. a throwout bearing would make noise when you push the pedal in.
most likely input shaft bearing, but it can be any bearing inside.

I was thinking input shaft bearing but the noise goes away when the clutch is barely pressed in, like I dont have to press it to the floor, the motor can keep turning and everything.
