5 speeds dont have an egr, only autos did.

there might be some crud in your tank blocking your pickup in tge tank, or maybe some loose wiring messing up the fuel pump

only when turning ? what happens if you floor it ? that should create the same affect as a light turn getting things to move around. I'll agree with m4xwell something loose/crud in the tank seems like a fuel issue to me.

So if you were to floor it when just driving normally it doesn't ? I'd say pull the pump and look in the tank but that requires dropping the tank. almost sounds like maybe there's something wrong with the pick up on the pump. how do your spark plugs look normal ?

the ring should be a bit black from carbon, the ground electrode should be a nice tan color, starting from near the bend to the tip. the electrode in the center should be clean for the most part, and the porcelain should be a sandy tan color as well.

look up a spark plug reading chart to see how yours compare.

I have to agree, it is a fuel issue, or fuel related issue.

Questions, you say it bogs if you turn, does it stop bogging if you straighten out the turn?

Does it still bog with a full tank of gas?
If so, it is unlikely a problem with the fuel pickup.

As asked, does it bog if you just step on the gas, WOT?

Have you pulled codes?
If not, do so.

I would drop the PGM-FI Main Relay and shake it around with engine running to see if it is the problem.

And just because, redo your main grounds, batt. post and cable clamp, batt. to chassis and chassis to engine, to eliminate them as a possible problem. 94
