Hi,

I have the S300 system with Boost control and Aem/Mac Solenoid.

I want to drive 18 psi but it doesnt work. The wastegate open at oem pressure spring (10psi).

I played with the duty cycle and gear based target boost but nothing helped.

When i switch on the ignition, the solonoid make a "clack". So can be sure that s300 and the solenoid works.

 

When you adjust the % fixed duty cycle does the solenoid change the buzzing sound it makes? If it does then that confirms the Ecu is properly driving the solenoid and the problem is likely how its plumbed.

 

Is it a normally open or closed solenoid? If it is closed and you have it set to open and a duty cycle of 90% then you effectively are using a duty cycle of 10%.

Has the ECU been properly prepared with the components for boost control to work?
