Default Megasquirt for COP J series motor

So right I have a 1990 CRX with a J35 automagic swap. Currently running a stock Odyssey PCM with immobilizer removed. Been trying to find information about what I would need and how to go about getting this setup so I can tune my motor. I have found that people have used Megasquirt but then modify all the sensor wheels or adapt new ones to the motor. Some people have mentioned that tuner studio (the program to use the Megasquirt system) now has ability to use the stock Honda sensors in the newest version. but no where could I find if that has worked for anyone. Now the main reason I'm planning on using Megasquirt is that you can set up a CAN bus to run peripherals such as Megashift. Megashift can then be used to run the automatic transmission the way I want it to. I've seen on the internet a TL running Megasquirt but no info was posted on how it was setup. Any info would be great.

Your better off with a AFC or piggyback system unless your going turbo. Megasquirt is a whole different animal that takes a lot of time to learn, frustrations and research especially since it was geared towards domestic cars, or those with carbs and wanting to convert to efi. My advice is to stay away from megasquirt, because it is not plug and play friendly unless your an engineer, or someone who really knows their electronics.

100% agree with the above statement. However if you feel you are up for it or your tuner is comfortable with MS then go for it. MS is a great stand alone EMS with a great support forum. MS is not very popular with the Honda crowd so go over the MS forum to get started.
