Head studs were properly torqued? Who built the motor? Was the block decked or head resurfaced? how many miles were put on it until it started leaking?

I noticed that it's only leaking either at full running temperature or when I bet on it

Well, yeah.

How many miles? Aftermarket headstuds or stock? Was 30w. used?

If it is leaking from the center of the head, that would indicate that the head is warped, usually from overheating.

Just a thought.

dont you have to remove the 2 brass rings on the exhaust side that hold the layers of the gasket together?

i think those golden eagle kits use vtec headgaskets, and ive know a few people who have externally leaked fluids using vtec gaskets in an ls or b20 vtec setup. ive always used the nonvtec gasket and never had externally leaking issues

I have the golden eagle head gasket so its a VTEC gasket so you don't have to remove those rings that's only if you the LS head gasket

Ok so I retort the head studs and cleaned everything up and started it up again and it's actually leaking from one of the studs that holds the header to the head so I unbolted the header and took the stud out and it was full of coolanthas anyone ever had this problem before

and just as a reminder it doesn't leak smoke or burn any coolant other than that

Looks like ur screwed,it appears that some one drilled out a broken stud and went too far in hitting the water passage, had to replace a cylinder head on a 1g talon for a customer after he attempted to drill out a broken exhaust stud, this is exactly where it leaked too.I ,might not be the case with yours but just something to look into.

good to hear, sometimes you dont need a fancy fix. now you just gotta remember that when you take the header off next and i pisses coolant out of the bolt hole lol.

I support this post. Match the head gasket to the block you are using and you can never go wrong. Could be from incorrectly TQ'd head bolts/studs. Very important to TQ in steps and in the correct sequence.

Yeah that wont last too long but good luck to you. I would be looking at having the head repared or replaced.
