Why does this always happen..it's just a rant
I know many of you don't know me (actually I'm pretty sure none of you people know who I am). I rarely ever post on here anymore. I currently have my ITR listed for sale on Craigs and the Marketplace. I've owned it for 7 years. So far I'm not having any luck selling the car. I understand no bank is willing to give anyone over 10k loan for an "integra" and not a lot of people have over 10k in cash just laying around plus if they did they can buy something a lot better then a Type R. Since I've listed it for sale I've had a few interest not a lot, but everytime someone pays any interest in buying my car I go into my garage and look at my R and decide to not sell it. Like it will almost break my heart if I see another person drive away in it. I really want a s2000. But I cannot own a s2000 without getting rid of my R. It's like half of me wants to keep it to the day I die and half of me wants to sell it and move on to a better car like an s2000. Maybe I'm just too attached to my possesions. Like I said it's just a rant. Thanks for reading. Just wondering if any of other ex-R owners went through this and maybe you can shed some light on this issue for me. lol
Having a R is a blessing and a curse. I love my 98 but I always think I should sell it too. But the thought if missing it keeps me from giving in.
Exactly how I feel. It's the thought of missing it and not being able to find one almost stock and low miles like mine ever again. I'm glad I am not the only one that feels this way.
i have the thought sometimes of getting into an ap1 cause im tired of fwd drag racing . but the thought of having to sell or part out my car is what stops the ap1 dream.
get some good insurance and enjoy your car. everytime you drive it , youll understand why u kept it.

Keep the car. Fun per dollar cannot be beat on the track with this car. You can chase down much faster cars with it, and it's a lot more satisfying.
I felt like I wanted to sell my R then I started to track it. Haven't felt that I wanted to sell in three years. Use it and abuse it and you won't want to sell.

s2k is fun, had both at same time but you can't put anything in it, should only get one if you can have a spare car
So I vote to keep the caR too. Here is my experience:
I bought a completely bone stock all matching CW 98 ITR in 2006 and loved it. Got an offer about a year later to sell it I could not refuse, so I did. I almost instantly regretted it, and it took me six+ years to get around to getting another one, and will NOT sell this one.
Just my .02

When I financed my 01 ITR last year when I found it the bank had no problem financing it. They said the book value was still crazy on the vehicle so had no problem at all.
I also vote for keeping it. I got out of the Honda game for about 10 years since I work for Subaru Dealer. I now have a PY ITR in my garage and love it there. Track days are a blast and way cheaper than my modified Sti to have fun in.

I sold my 98 a while back and it was the stupidest thing I've ever done. Sold it to buy an STI, which I sold a year later because I hated it. The grass is always greener on the other side ....
Don't do it.

Hey guys thanks for all your input. You guys are right the car is really hard to let go. ESP after owning it for 7 years. I however never did any track days. (It's out of my price range at he moment). For now ill just keep it and take it out for a spirit drive once awhile.
