Default Intermittent Crank/Start Problem

So for awhile now, I have had a starting issue. Sometimes when you get in and turn the key, the relay will click, and the starter solenoid clicks, but the engine will not turn over and it will not start. Usually, if you play with the key back and forth a few times, you can get it to crank and start. The starter was recently replaced by the previous owner, and here is what I have done so far;

Main Relay
Battery
Both Terminal ends
Checked starter wires/cable

Its wierd, sometimes if you hold the key in the crank position, after a few seconds it will start to crank. Anyone have a clue? Would like to get this resolved because other than this issue the car is finally perfect.

Possibly the contacts within the key tumbler, maybe the ignition switch itself. There are test procedures in the FSM.
