CV Axle keeps popping out! Need help!
So my CV Axle keeps popping out of the tranny (passenger side). I replaced my axle like 4 months ago, it ran like a new. just 2 weeks ago, the axle popped out of the tranny, took it back to the shop and they exchanged it for a new one, that one broke test driving it, then we got a new one, and keeps popping out.
We put a spacer and it worked temporarily, the spacer came off and boom! The axle popped out again. The mechanic recommended taking the axle to a machine shop so they could cut it and add/weld 1" to it, I didn't like the idea, and doesn’t sound safe.
I took it to my boy's shop, he took a look at it, nothing looks out of order except for the motor mount located behind the engine & tranny having a lil play, which was replaced together with the axle 4 months ago, I noticed the tranny sits lower than the usual, but according to the mechanic, it's not so bad to be causing the axle to pop out.
My boy recommended something similar, taking the axle to a shop so they could make a custom halfshaft 1" longer.
Apparently this is happening because I'm "too slammed" which doesn't make sense because I’m not the only Slammed crv in my area and no one else is having this issue, plus I raised the car back up 1" and it still happening.
Does anybody have any suggestions? Ideas? anything?

if its a replacement axles... that might be the issue! i had that problem when i went and get several
axles from associated and other local parts shop, its a bit short than the oem one or may be the
cross bearing that theyre using pulls the shaft end inside more... i eneden up redoing my own axles
from the parts that came w/ the replacement ones... then re pack the whole thing again...
good luck!!

I had that problem with my integra. The passenger side shaft broke on it, and it took out the input shaft section so no shaft would stay popped in. I tried 3 shafts and they all did the same thing.
Ended up having to replace the tranny because it was cheaper then taking it apart.

I had the same issue with new aftermarket shafts after I switched to remanned aftermarket shafts it didnt happen anymore. The new 1s shafts are made shorter I guess to save metal. I put them next to each other and it was noticable. Worth a try atleast.
