240cc should do you just fine if it's stock. however, i would upgrade your fuel pump cuz it's worth the investment

compression is 9.8 with stock head gasket, you should be able to turbo with this compression but i would make sure your setup is tuned good and you are giving the motor enought fuel i.e.(injectors, VAFC and/or FPR) Also i wouldnt go more than like 10psi boost, 6-8 should be plenty on the street

thats pretty much what im looking at doing nothing to special but i wansnt sure if the compression would be higher since the head would be smaller then a gsr thus being more pressure but shoot 9.8 man that perfect for boost..but what about NA if i decided to just put the block on for the mean time would i be slower with a b16 head and a gsr bottom rather then just the regular b16a? sorry for the 20 questions i havent really found anyone with this setup >

thanks bro

dont worry about it how else are you going to find out without asking ?'s:

personally the gsr block feels a lot better and i have times to prove it. even with 9.8 compression the setup feels like it has more torque all around and my top end even improved

with stock b16 full interior best on street tires was 14.27@97 (stock timing and 92 gas)
and with slicks 13.62@100 with 110 octane and 21 degrees of timing!

with my stock b16, race doors and 20x6x14 slicks my best was 13.52@101 with 1.9 60ft and an occaisional high 1.8

with my stock gsr block b16 head, race doors, and slicks my best was 13.20@103 with 1.87's and 1.84 60fts all day.

i think that is it for now i will let you know if i forgot anything... oh yeah all of these were with full exhaust 2.5" crush bent piping with POS muffler

Is this "GSR" block a B17A or a B18C1? But you used everything else from the B16A and bolted it on the GSR engine? In a CRX right?

its a B18C1 of course.... the b17a block sucks, just about everything in it is useless unless you want the b17 crank in a ls vtec or b20vtec setup for a better rod stroke...

yeah just used stuff off the new block and old block everything just bolted right in to me '88 crx dx. .

Im not sure if i stated it before but my car weighs 2060 with me in it and full interior
