Default Removing d16z6 intake manifold

I've been searching and can't find a straight answer. When removing the intake manifold from the head do I only have to remove the intake, unbolt the 6 bolts up top, the 1 ( PITA ) bolt in the center under the car, and the 2 10mm or 12mm bolts holding it to the bracket? Or will I have to unclip the fuel injectors, remove the fuel rail ect. ?

you'll have to unclip the injectors, unhook the coolant lines, disconnect the vacuum lines, and unbolt the fuel line from the fuel rail. You may or may not have to disconnect the throttle cable depending on what you are doing.

I'm just trying to remove the head. Would it be easier if I took the manifold off still attached to the head? Or would I still have to basically disconnect everything.

you will still have to remove all that.. and yes just remove it all at once.. and yes you will have to disconnect the throttle cable. dont forget to unclip the IACV, MAP, TPS.

Dude really?? if your taking the head off, anything attached to it, take off. its not hard. or you can do it the hard way, start taking the head off and when you go to lift it off the block and something is still attached to the head then you know you have to take it off. theres your easy to follow DIY

Unbolt the manifold and the bracket under it. And slide it back.
I never remove the intake from the car for a head swap just unbolt it and slide it back same with the header.
Takes me about 45-60min to do a head swap by myself taking my time.
