wont start/IAT sensor code
alright, so i tucked my wiring, well kinda, got lazy on one side and left it in the engine bay, but anyway, got it all back together. theres 1 harness(not sure where it goes ill describe it later) not connected, but other than that all the sensors are connected where they should be and wired solidly, but im getting still getting a IAT sensor code....
before i checked the codes i tried starting it up and it sounds like something is grounding out and arching, or its just the main relay, not entirely sure on it. it doesnt even try to crank... so i thought maybe my battery is dead, hooked it up to a charger let it do its thing then tried again and still nothing....
the harness described earlier kind of is similar to the oil pressure sensor as it has that little cone-like protective cover thing and it has 2 female isolated connectors...
if i could get help on this ASAP, it would be greatly appreciated...

You answered your own question.
Your wiring is NOT right.
Like the oil pressure sensor?
I think you are describing the water temp switch for radiator fan

yea those, thats it! okay, dont need those because my radiator fan is hooked to a toggle switch lol.
well, okay, i /thought/ i did it right but apparently not lol ya happy?!
anywho, literally all i did was extend the loom and the sensor harnesses....

well what makes it crank over is the starter and signal wire really.
the sensors are just for when the car runs lol.
go over your starter power wire and especially the signal wire, its female/male connection makes it easy to come off

Why bother with the fan on a toggle?
The engine runs best at optimal temp - not too cold and not too hot.
It's much easier to just let the temp switch handle it.

the wire that goes from the driverside harness to the starter with the little rubber boot?
i bypassed all the wiring between the starter and the battery with the ignition on but its still not doing anything?

If you for sure have a good battery, then it should have worked.
If you are CERTAIN the battery is good, then;
1. check your grounds. If they all look good, double check by hooking a jumper cable to your NEG post on your battery and hook the other end to the starter or transmission case. Leave the other jumper cable disconnected.
2. If the ground check didn't work, then hook the other jumper cable to the large lug on the starter for power and the other end of the cable to POS battery.
3. If that still didn't work, take length of wire and connect it to POS battery. TOUCH the other end to the tab on the starter that the ignition switch normally goes to.
If that didn't work, replace the starter.

yea... i pulled my starter a tested it because thats what i was doing, i was just jumping it in the car and it would click so i pulled it took it to autozone and yea.... it was the starter -_-
lol yea....
went and got a new starter, well a used one from a donor car, and i put it in wired it back up and it doesnt do anything so i just went straight wire from the battery to act as the signal wire and it did nothing. pulled it out and tested it and it spun....

Transmission ground. That or your flywheel is SO STRONG that it won't let the starter spin.
wouldnt make sense that it would be my flywheel being "so strong" since it started before i did this; i looked over it yesterday and i did, in fact, miss a ground and i reground it thinking that would be the problem but now i get a whining noise like i have a vacuum leak and it still doesnt start. the started doesnt even try to engage it does just ONE click and nothing more.
Okay, so... new development....
i put an alligator clip onto the male part of the "starter signal sender" and went straight back to my battery and the starter clicks now like its trying as if my battery were just low on power but other than that(putting it "oem") it still does nothing....

you, sir, were correct. buttttt it still wont start. i was watching to make sure my belts n everything were turning and i noticed something on my timing belt and, well... its got a huge rip in it and im thinking it might have jumped and messed up my timing so im gonna get a new belt and hopefully it starts!
soo.... got a new belt threw it on there it would just crank and not turn over so i put my battery to my charger and it was at 60% so i charged it up to 97% and put it back in and now my starter just clicks again and wont try to crank..... wtf is up with this
