Default 90 CRX Rear Hatch Lift Supports Need Ball Mount Bolts

hey so I replaced my lift support struts maybe 5 years ago and at that time the manufacturers changed the design and were using a washer type opening at the bottom and a ball mount at top that is integrated in the strut..

The original struts came with bolts that have ***** on the end and the strut had the sockets to accept them.

So i go to buy new struts and got Monroes and they are OEM Duplicates

For some reason i kept one set of ball mount bolts for the struts .. it was because i replaced one side at a time..

Anyway i need another set of the bolts ..

It use to be that the struts came with hardware kits.

I believe i can get the top ball mount bolt out but since the lower end has a washer mount where a bolt with a ratchet head is placed through it there is no way for me to mount the lower side...

Hope you understand
If you have replaced yours then you probably do.

Anyone got a place to buy these things?

I tried advanceauto and napa but not the dealer because i don't want to pay $50 for a bolt ....

Junkyards are not an option here... thanks

contact the manufacture. i bought a pair that didnt came with them and the auto parts store could only return them as they didnt have any more in stock. Told the company my story and they shipped out the ball connector part for free. worth a shot.

the company i got them from was Stabilus .

LMK if you cant find it. i can try to find my extra set.( they gave me 2 sets but i only needed one)

Had all kinds of problems getting hatch struts. The ***** are supposed to come with the struts, but they didn't. I looked at all the packages in 4 different stores to come up with one mismatched pair. There are 2 kinds, one with socket ends on both sides and one with a socket end on the piston and a loop on the body.

This place sells parts, they also sell both types of lifts. I've dealt with them on several occasions and they have great customer service.

The part numbers are the same. They used that same exact part from 1980 all the way up until 2007 on both civics and accords. http://www.hondapartsnow.com/genuine...9-SH3-003.html
