Default Bad vibration when accelerating

Have a 2000 civic si and when I accelerate in 1st or reverse it shakes rough like wheel hop but at like 2mph speed. I replaced: clutch, axles, half shaft, upper control arms(bushings and ball joint were gone). Only think I can think of are the mounts, but I'm tired of telling my friend of what it could be and wasting his money. Any thoughts would be appreciated thanks

You know you can check the mounts before replacing them, right? Pop the hood, have your buddy give it gas in neutral, look for play in the mounts. It's that simple. What clutch and flywheel are on the motor?

Stock flywheel, and some clutch kit from oreilly auto parts that has a heavier duty pressure plate and the clutch disk had smaller springs

does it only vibrate when you are letting off the clutch? or is it when the clutch is depressed all the way and you are accelerating?

I was trying to describe the speed, same speed when you park a car... Forgot to mention that it started happening when he was getting off the freeway he heard a loud pop and his clutch pedal was dead (would stick to the floor and won't come back up). He pulled over pressed on the pedal couple of times and he managed to drive it to my house and I installed new clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder. Still same vibration

I'm having this same issue with my 2000 Honda Ex. Everything mechanical is completely stock and original part. Car has roughly 160,000 miles. Replaced the plugs, wires, dist. cap and button, and fuel filter all within the last year. Only does the vibrating when accelerating from dead stop. Maybe a slight difference in the intensity with the a/c on. Once moving, issue is gone. Had thoughts that the clutch plate is probably warped but wanted to get a second or third or fourth opinion before dropping the transmission to replace. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm having a VERY similar issue, but mine happens under acceleration during a load (uphill / hard acceleration). I've replaced axles, motor mounts / transmission mount / shifter stabilizer bushings, all trying to fix this problem. I noticed that if I am accelerating and this vibration is happening, and if I press in the clutch then release it again (effectively putting the clutch against the flywheel in a different spot), it will stop or do it noticeable less for the rest of the acceleration. Would that indicate a warped flywheel? You might want to try doing the same thing on yours - just push the clutch in and then release when the symptoms are happening, and see if that makes it any better. Could indicate the same problem I'm having.

I've noticed that if I ride the clutch out extremely slow, I can minimize the jumpiness. I've been driving this thing since 01'. I find it hard to believe that all of a sudden, I don't know how to drive a clutch.

sounds like you didn't get your fly wheel resurfaced or it was surfaced out of spec and the fly wheel is now junk.

also did you remember to wash the pressure plat in HOT soapy water to get the cosmoleen and or packing grease off?

Did you get grease or greasy finger prints all over clutch disc and or pressure plate surface?
