Need advice for swapping sub frame and motor mounts
I'm doing a power to manual steering rack conversion on my del sol. I know I don't need to swap the subframes out, as many others have done it with the power one. I have one and I want too. Coincidentally I am swapping out my two upper and rear mounts out when I do this as well.
I'm installing 95A Innovative mounts and was thinking about doing the two uppers first. My plan was to support the bottom of the motor with a jack and a board when doing those two. I read some people dont deem it necessary to do... With the two more sturdy mounts up top, will I need to support the transmission at all when removing the rear mount and dropping the subframe?
Thoughts? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! No lift, just jacks and stands in the garage... This is the first time I will be doing anything with mounts and my subframe so I'm a little hesitant.
Thanks! I appreciate it!

No. The two upper mounts are lots strong to support the engine and trans. The rear mount doesn't really support the weight of the engine anyway, it's more to prevent rotational movement than anything else.
