ok so i have a 00 si i used to have a itr took it out put my oem b16 back in as i try to crank it up i get nothing all i hear is the starter turning the motor but no explosion/compressed crank hope that makes sence im getting spark and fuel i can see the crank puller spin as well as my cam gears so its going this motor ran perfect before any ideas??

 

checked firing order and timing?

 

Is your intake free of debri? Sounds dumb but if you have spark and fuel i would think it would do something. Maybe push your gas pedal down when cranking?

 

Also check fuel pressure if you have a way. Maybe something got in your fuel rail. Did you put the original ecu back in?

 

Color of spark?
How did you check fuel?
Check compression?

 

ill try holding the gas pedal but I checked fuel by pulling injectors out and all squirt gas ill check timing and update with any results could a bad crank position sensor cause this cranking sound problem I took that sensor off then put it back on I heard if u do that u can mess things up

btw spark is blue could the firing order cause the motor to sound like flat dull crank sound

 

waiting for timing check...then compression. are you getting fuel ? (confirmed plugs wet)

 

plugs are wett I need to get a compression tester nd timing is good

 

btw forgot to say in description car turned on once drove up street turned it off and now it wont crank back up
