Default stock Ls/vtec

what obd 2 ecu will i have to run so my motor goes lol. i need it to pass etest in canada so thats why the obd2 is being used i plan on swapping it to obd1 and tune it right away but i need it to be able to drive and not throw any cels..

i have a stock ls block and tranny with a b16 type r head.pretty possitive theyre all usdm.. got a whole swap but the harness and ecu it came with is on some crack cuz its spitting fuel in my injectors over 65psi and just runs like ****. the harness is missing a whole clip so im guessing the guy wired **** up like a retard. so i grabbed an ex harness (should come in mail in a week or so) and now i need an obd2 ecu... now the question i have. what am i gonna have to do to avoid the gay *** knock sensor because im pretty positive i dont have one on my ls block. would the obd2 computer look for the knock sensor? im going to be using a obd1 ecu and tune it so i dont really want to tap into for the sensor. just need to bypass the sensor with the obd2 ecu to pass the etest. any feedback would be great. i currently have a p09(came with swap) and a p72 im pretty postive theyre not chipped or anything.

What year is your car? Use the corresponding ECU to the year of your car, but it sounds like you'll have to sort out the wiring and misfires before you can cruise around without CELs.

If your car is a 96-98, I'd look into getting a P30 ECU out of a 96-97 Del Sol, but if it's a 99-00, then you'll need a P2T ECU out of a 99-00 Civic SIR or the 99-00 American Si.
