1996 Honda Civic DX Timing Off
Alright so I'm having some trouble with my DX
Problem One: A few weeks ago my grandma found a small puddle underneath my car, turns out it was coolant, I can't find out where exactly it came from though, every time I fill my reservoir up it disappears the next day. Is there a way to test for leaks? or possibly the best way to check it out and see where the leak is?
Problem two: I took out my distributor and reinstalled it and now my timing is off, do I NEED a timing light or can I just visually change it?

check the obvious things.. coolant hoses and radiator.. also it could be you water pump. when they go bad they have a little spot where the leak from. if its leaking from the WP you should be able to see the puddle on the driver side.. maybe from under the crank pulley. you wont be able to actually see the WP cause its covered by the timing cover of course. ive personally had this problem before.
