b16a.... my engine harness looks to be a obd2b(hooks up to a obd2b ecu derectly no adapter) but when u look at the dizzy plugs it looks like a obd1. i have obd2 dizzy with jumper harness to 0bd1. so i hook up my stock p2t and cranks over when i hit the gas and throttle opens the engine dies.

 

What CEL codes s is it throwing?

 

just 65 and 41.

 

u sure that you didnt mix up the Map and TPS plugs?

 

i already checked tht thats not it.

 

Maybe a bad ignitor? the do go bad

 

i swapped the im from the usdm engine to this jdm engine. the tps broke on my usdm tb so i swapped the jdm tps to the usdm tb u think thats my problem?

 

did you calibrate the tps?

 

yea if you didnt calibrate it, then it could def be the problem because it could be showing that your are on WOT or that you arent giving it any gas when you are. Get a multimeter and check the voltage, voltages @ FCT should be around .45-.5 and Voltage @ WOT should be 4.5-5V
