Oil T brass fitting broke off in block
Was working on taking off a cheap turbo setup off a car I bought, and the oil T broke off in the block. I will be taking the motor out this weekend, any suggestions on how to get the broken piece out?
I was thinking about using a bolt extractor, but it seems to be really cheap soft metal, I don't want it to break some more and fall into the block...

X3 ex out but you must go slow the brass is soft worse comes to worse drill out and re tap or heli coil. Just try to keep the shaving out as much as possible or fluah it out
it happens to me, use an extractor that the tip enter enough in the brass fitting, one that grip pass the half of the Extractor. I learned the hard way.
this has happened to me more than once over the years. use the ez out. go very gentle with it. when u got to reassemble get on summit or jegs or whatever and get a steel fitting it wont break. keep in mind in think those threads are bspt not npt. also you dont want to over torque it when reassembling it can crack the aluminum in the block. i think its like 12 or 13 ftlbs, and they mean it. with some teflon on the threads it wont leak no worries
