car has power but will not crank
hello. I have a standard 1994 Honda civic hatchback cx. I was driving my car and parked it. when I returned it would not start. I have looked at it myself and am puzzled. I used a volt ohm meter and tested every possible fuse, and they are all good. when I turn my key to the on position, there is power, when I turn it further to the start position there is nothing and it will NOT attempt to crank. I jumped the started to start the car and it runs for only a few seconds and then it looses fuel pressure. I have to disconnect the battery and reconnect it again for the fuel pump to kick back on. any ideas? all help will be very much appreciated. thank you
yes. I have checked the relays, they are good. also I have checked to see if there are any open wires, there are not. so I do not believe that anything is grounding out to the body.
