96 Civic CX Dome Lights - LED conversion
I recently looked into Dome lights on my 96 Civic CX. It is currently the normal bulb but is isn't bright enough, and wanted to change it up a bit for color LED's. They take one sided plug-in bulbs like this.
CURRENT BULB: http://www.ebay.com/itm/130953052222...84.m1423.l2649
I was considering buying a new dome light interior like the one posted below to get a bulb like this.
BULB: http://www.ebay.com/itm/271202747099...84.m1436.l2649
INTERIOR DOME LIGHT: http://www.ebay.com/itm/310678758979...84.m1427.l2649
Basically, I am buying the interior dome light to switch out the dome light switch so I can fit the dual sided bulbs, for better brightness. Unless the one sided bulbs, will be just as bright as the dual sided bulbs. Anyone know from prior experience?

Re: 96 Civic CX Dome Lights
I got this one for my 97 DX:

in warm white, it looks just the same color but makes the interior like 3x brighter, however I needed to resolder the ends because the original solder broke off and would cause the dome lights to not come on intermittently when the doors were opened.

Re: 96 Civic CX Dome Lights
Also, blue is poopy and is unfunctional, if you want blue lights, install those cheap LED strips. Stick to white colored lighting for the dome light
I was on Amazon and purchased a bag of 20 6-SMD white bulbs for the dome light for $10 and $10 for 20 5-SMD white bulbs for map lights so I can install them all on my family's vehicles . Worth it if you ask me, $20 for 40 bulbs.

Re: 96 Civic CX Dome Lights
The problem is that my 96 Civic CX takes the one sided bulbs now those dual sided bulbs and the panel would not fit my car unless I would mod it I believe so the big panels would fit there.

CO671, yes I believe mine are the T10 bulbs. Here is a picture, of my car's dome light.
Although I found blue LED lights posted in the beginning of the topic for my car, that are t10 Bulbs.
