Default Running on 3 Cylinders??

Ok put my valve cover back on after changing the gasket and when i started it up it sounds like a subaru. Spark plug wires are in the correct order and check engine light is on and blinks when driving at a constant speed. Am I only running off of 3 Cylinders now?? Or did one of my spark plugs die!? lol please help

If you can, take your car somewhere that reads CEL codes. Chances are it will lead you to figuring out what the cause of your troubles are.

You also didn't include any information of year, model, trim, etc. How are we supposed to help if we don't have a damn clue what you're working on?

Flashing while driving is a misfire or lack of oil pressure issue, you shouldn't be driving it around a lot like that.

Check your spark plugs and wires again and make sure they are seated properly. Also check the distributor connectors, ensure that they are clean and secure.

x2 on the year and trim of your Accord.

If it is a 90-97 you can retrieve the check engine light, diagnostic trouble codes, yourself.

that's completely normal.

it only runs on 3 cylinders in MPG mode to save gas.

you have to switch it back to VTEC BWAH mode so you can get maximum HP back.

what you need to do is locate your ECU. ( passenger side under the glove box )

there should be a red wire and a blue wire ( solid red and blue, pretty thick can't miss em ) out of all the wired up bunch.

Snip the blue wire. DON'T SNIP THE RED WIRE.
