Default Honda Rot!! *Pics* Not to bad, first time metal work, need advice

Hey guys, Ive got a week off work and I am hoping to do the bodywork on my RHD Crx and give it a Blitz Black paint job.

The car needed very little attention in other areas as it is pretty straight but I knew these quarter panels were going to be trouble as i knew the PO had simply filled the rear quarter honda rot with body filler and is starting to rust through again.

My question is simply how to attack this. Full new panels (which I have) or simply cut and patch the pieces needed. Today I took the flapper disc to the quarters to see what I was getting into and dont quite understand what Ive found

Right rear, "inside" panel also appears rusted?

right rear further back for perception

Left rear

left rear closeup, hole right through, I picked out all that filler after

So both sides appear to have "holes" at the very back of the quarter panel, and the left panel has that rust spotting, but to get to clean metal would probably be the full way through

Keep in mind this car is my DD, and getting a $100 paintjob, but I do have replacement quarter panels for the car in my hands already. I do intend on keeping it for years to come, so id like the rust to not be an issue... but Im not building a show car.. or a car anyone really sees for that matter.

My 2 main concerns are, one I wont be able to recreate the factory body lines, the wheel arch flat, the crisp corners in the rear etc, a crx rear quarter is pretty elaborate to me and Id like that to look normal. Secondly Im scared to remove the rear interior, its old, brittle and very much a PITA

Another route Im still considerring is simple fiber filler for the big hole and rage gold top coat. As i have both.... would save ALOT of time, but will it last 2+ years without deforming?
How would you guys tackle this?

I would buy a patch panal from fixmyrust.com took about a week to get to me. Basicly cut it out and weld in the patch. You dont have to use the whole patch panal just the section you need. You want to use Short hairfiber bondo as it is water resistant. I wouldnt just fill it as it will get worse and prob fail within 6 month to a year (depending on climate and such) Looks like someone just bondod the whole the last time and that why it got worst and failed. I would cut it out and after its a big enuff hole spray some rust converter on the rust that left.
