Default B16A oil filter removal

I don't have a hoist at home to lift my car up, so what's the easiest way to remove this oil filter with out a hoist?

Ummm...I've never heard of anyone....ever, having to use a hoist to reach down below the intake manifold and twist off the filter.

Buy a set of car ramps from canadiantire or princess auto to drive the car up on, or make your own out of wood.

Floor jack and stands are worth the money. I can reach behind it from above the driver side but I do have long arms.

Take the intake manifold off? Much easier to get under the car.

Jeez...for the big armed people...get the oil filter wrench/removal tool, put the tool on a ratchet, use a bar to extend the length of the ratchet....theres your skinny arm to get down there.

Taking off the intake manifold to remove a oil filter?....wow
