99 Civic throwing P1768, P1298, P0135, P0141 after jump starting friend's truck
Sisters Car: 1999 Auto 4D civic LX
Issue: not sure if it's all related but sister assisted jump starting B-Friends truck; tried x 2 with truck ending up having alternator issues.
while jumpers where hooked up and civic idling it suddenly turned off; unable to fire back up. ended up replacing ICM and ignition coil resulting in successful start up but now with check engine light on and throwing P1768 code/D4 flashing and couple other O2 sensor codes. car jerks into gear when manually shifting down the gears; the car will not auto shift.
Would replacing the trans. shift solenoids easily fix this issue? Or is my sister unlucky and will need trans work? any input greatly appreciated

I had kind of the same issue a while back, nothing was actually done, but was fixed..check your tranny solenoid. but most likely, the solenoid inside the tranny.
When she assisted jumping the truck, did they connect all jumper cable points to both batteries instead of grounding off the 1 negative? Probably shorted some stuff out
She connected the cable clips + to + and - to - of both batteries. think there is a code that states some power surge. looked into it and remember it mentioning a metal clip possibly cutting into wire harness.

Well when i got it checked, autozone said it was the lock out clutch, but it wasnt that...theres more to the story. but Anyway, i believe its on the inside of the housing.
Reset the ECU to clear all codes. Then drive car and when the CEL turns on, pull the codes again. Post ALL codes that are recovered after the ECU reset.
Also check whether the charging system light now turns on and stays on with key in ON(II)/engine off and then turns off after engine is started.
Oh, so the battery symbol should have been showing? Noob question, which is fuse 15?
Yes.
The circuits throwing all of your CEL codes are protected by fuse 15. The fact that the charging system warning light does not turn on suggests that fuse 15 is blown. A blown fuse 15 can throw all the codes you are seeing.
Install a new 7.5A fuse into the fuse 15 slot to see whether this resolves the problems. Verify that fuse 15 does not blow again by checking whether the charging system warning light always turns on and stays on with the key in ON(II)/engine off.
