I beg to differ with you on that point. When you do an obd conversion on a crx you hook up the brown wire from the obd1 plug (I don't remember what pin it is from)to the brown wire that used to go to pin b20 on the non obd plug. That goes to the plug under the hood that is used to set the timing. That is how you check codes on an obd car. True on a 5th gen car it is by the ecu but on a crx\ef civic it is on the drivers side under the hood. I am running the p28 in my crx also and am very familiar with the whole process. How is he supposed to check codes then?

my crx runs ten times better with the p28 than it ever did with a pm6\pg7 and vafc setup. i would tell anyone to go obd1 in a sohc vtec crx, you will not regret it.
