So I bought my 95 del sol crashed from the front. Now I was told I needed some measurements to replace my core support? I had it sitting for awhile now so I would rather just pay to get it done cuz I don't have the tools. How much should I pay?

 

No one knows. Get some estimates.

 

well all I got were in the 500s except for 1 place that said 300 but I don't know if that's like a cheap job?

 

Same problem, I'm doin it myself but I've got experience replacing core supports on my stepdaughters cars over the last coupla years. If you aren't ready to break spot welds, straighten as required, fit, tack, measure again, mock up, finish weld and then grind and seal, pay the money. im just sayin,,,it's a pain.

My dad has 15+ years of body work experience I wont touch a core support unless he has all the correct machines to use. Seriously put away your tape measure and ruler, you won't get it right, and your stuff will never line up or drive straight. Pay the cash or find a new car.

 

well my dads friend is a pro. but he couldn't find the measurements either. would you be able t help me?

 

He's a pro as in he works in a body shop? If so he should have access to the measurments. If not, you may need to go to a body shop and ask yourself. These measurments are just laying around most peoples "random facts" drawer

 

no he used to work in an auto body shop but that was a couple years ago. but he does it out of his back yard now. I've seen his work though. he does good but he just cant get ahold of the measurements so im doing a little research myself.

 

so if any1 can give me measurements that would be very kind lol thanx in advance
