the main thing you should worry about is feul and tuning. Without proper tuning you it won't matter how much you spend on accesories because it won't run right.

Most economical and turbo don't go together at all. the greddy turbo spools real fast so you might sacrifice mpg. My turbo kit I had 24 mpg and it spooled fast also, but I was running a hondata and 550 injectors. again goes back to good tuning. If you have the money get a good kit and standalone unit.

Get the F-Max turbo kit if you want real power.

I am half way through compiling a list of everything I am going to need to get a turbo running on my 4th gen si, and so far the list includes...
the turbo (obviously)
exhaust manifold
3"exhaust system
new computer
Tuning

that is the basic package, options include
pistons/headgasket (for lowering compression to allow for safely running higher boost, must get the pistons resleeved too!!!)
intercooler (only really necessary if you wanna run over 12psi)

Then, of course, you start getting into stuff like turbo timers and BOV's and stuff, but if you can get the basic package you can upgrade later!
Hope this helps, I know how hard it is to find people willing to help rather than just flame you!
