Default Aftermarket Clutch

I have a 97 GS-R and the clutch is going out on it, I was wondering what after market brand is good for the money and where is the best place to get it. I would appreciate multiple opinions. Thanx....

if you're getting to get a high performance clutch, remember that it won't be as smooth as a stock one will.........still, those damn high performance clutches really hook up hard.......

Well, I can't suggest one, but Rocket can suggest and sell you a clutch.

(because thats what im suppose to have, its suppose to use some parts from ACT but its "tri-puck" soo its really racey, but it has the "dual diapham" so it doesnt tear apart your tranny...) So if youve heard of it, can you tell me where i can find out more info about it? thanks...

DUAL DIAPHRAGM not tear out your tranny?
thats got to be one of the harshest pressure plates. In general, the brands that have Dual D's mean thats PRESSURE PLATE that are for 300HP+. its a more hardcore and more pressure type of plate. if it were any PP that would break trannies, it would be a heavy duty dual D plate with a 3 puck clutch disc.

i have an ACT Xtreme Pressure Plate with Performance Organic Street disc mated to a 7.5 pound fidanza flywheel. It damn rules. I notice a huge increase in acceleration in gears 1-3... in 4 i notice it if im at about 2k rpm and punch it... definatly gets up quicker than with stock flywheel. I also don't have to downshift much for changing lanes on the freeway.. just keep it in 5th @ 70mph punch it and it accelerates pretty quick.

this clutch isn't too harsh, however it is a jump from stock. My left foot has been hurting recently from the driving, but im sure i'll get over it
