Default (HELP) B16a block and head with 82mm pctx pistons.

Someone here already used the nippon piston 82mm pctX in B16A?? I need help on my block the piston is passing almost 1mm height of the block. What can be done? Anyone ever had this problem?

PCTX are CTR pistons. The CTR uses the B16B, which has a taller deck height. You aren't going to make those work without some creative fabrication. Sell them, and get the correct pistons.

This is also something you could have found out with 5 minutes of searching.

But I find piston 82mm pr3? I just find forged a high price.

Pistons that don't work for your application are also very expensive . . . now u gotta sell these . . . probably wont get what u paid for it all . . and then you gotta buy the right stuff . . all that installation and removal . . . Whats your time worth? 5 minuites of research sure could of saved you a few weeks of trouble . .

Ok, looks like I found 82mm P30 piston on ebay, however I wanted to find a way to use PCTX, so to see what is going. Thought until the piston in machining and demote a little "edge"..... you guys might find something crazy but I'm about to take the test, even if I buy P30. grumblemarc, you think that's crazy??
