B16 block with nippon 82mm PCT pistons
Hi friends I'm from Brazil and I really need help from you guys. Installed on my B16a block 82mm nippon PCT piston and when mounting the b16a head noticed that the piston side of the block is above 1.7mm. What can be done?? I thought about using thicker headgasket. Can you guys help me? Tks

Well you're going to get it. You cannot just slap parts together and hope that they will work without doing research beforehand. It's part of the technical aspect of working on cars-planning.
MY research, the research you didn't do, doesn't indicate any issues running this combo other than pretty high compression. I hope you plan on getting this tuned.

I appreciate your attention. What happens is that the piston pin that is lower than the PR3 this causes the piston be higher. I honestly do not know why it was for more than 1mm off the block. My std block the 81mm piston is approximately 1mm inside the block. The 82mm piston trough the block, sure beats the head and the head hole is made for 81mm. In relation to height (tip of the piston) is okay

grumblemarc, I am new in the world of hondas and not know well so I'm trying to get help from you guys in the honda tech, is not lazy to search, it is simply not know where. I am humble and speak to do not understand, why I seek help. Should have researched more however I thought it would be plug and play and just have more "rate" the engine.

Not so new that you grabbed up some pistons and slapped them in a block. How did you know to even get these pistons? You read it somewhere or someone told you.
Be more thorough. It's not a new thing or a Honda thing.

Okay, I read the other forum, my only option would be thicker HG. I believe still gain compression, will use ethanol, then hopefully everything right. I thank those who tried to help.

can someone tell me if the b17a connecting rods can be used in b16?? They are 2mm smaller and it would end my problems. What do you think? And where can I find?

Still not searching? Do I have to find these answers for you?
Find a build that does what you want to do and copy it. Stop trying to do things from scratch when someone has already done it. You're asking for a lot of time and money wasted.
