Default auto to manual swap for 92-95 civic

I was wondering how much it has cost others to do this? Is it worth it to just buy one thats already manual?

Mine costed 1100 but that was with a fidanza 7 1/2 pound flywheel, an exedy stage 2 clutch and many other brand new parts. If its worth it to you then do it.

What about the hole for the clutch and the shift linkage? Everything is already there pretty much?

The holes are already there. If you do the work yourself and find a lot of used parts you can do the swap pretty cheap. I've done a few of them, spent about $200 on the first one (used a used clutch and got stuff really cheap)

Okay sounds good. Where did you get most of your parts?

The first one I did I knew someone that had a parts car and bought most of the stuff from him. Paid $100 for almost everything including a used clutch. Chances are you wont get that lucky.

One of the other ones I did for someone else, they bought a parts car, took what they needed, parted the rest out and actually came ahead.

So if I can find a parts car that would be the best way it seems like.
