d16a6 manifold help!!
First off in advance thanks everyone for posting and reading. Spreading the Ef-love
Okay so my ef si has its stock mpfi obd0 manifold.
But it has a few problems. One of my studs are broken the one closest to cylinder #4 .
any idea how I could fix or replace that?
Now second. My engine intake manifold has a aftermarket fuel rail. The lining inside where the injectors go into are stripped also on the one closest to cylinder #4. I replace the injectors it had to d16a6 injectors as it had d15b7. But does anyone know a fuel rail I could use rather than ad16a6 fuel rail as I've gone to junkyards and I can't find a crx si or ef si or ef ex . Most are DPFI .
So which one would be a good aftermarket fuel rail or OEM fuel rail I could use retro fitted ?
Thanks for your help everyone much appreciated!

If you have some stud left tighten a vice grips as hard as you can and snap it on the stud as tight as possible and spin off.
If the stud is broken off almost clean with the flange you can take a nut slightly larger than the stud and hold the nut with a vice grips and fill the nut with weld.
Then remove the nut and the broken stud should come out if your weld was sufficient.
Also your weld wont stick to the aluminum intake manifold but be sure to cover your windshield glass as well as anything flammable with a welding blanket or equivalent. Hope this helps man!
Shoot me a pm if you cant find a fuel rail as I should have a few in my garage!

the studs just screw in and out of the head - to get the broken one out, use the vise grips and screw it out - to put the new one in, double nut the stud and screw it in
okay sounds great thanks J and the stud is on my manifold. but I'll go to my local vatozone and get a stud. idea on the fuel rail a OEM one I can use besides a a6 one or would some how a b2 one work even if its dpfi

D15B2 doesnt have a fuel rail. Both injectors plug straight into the TB/Intake manifold. Almost any D Series fuel rail should work. Google 'd series fuel rail interchangeability' or something like that.
Also, you could find studs at any Ace Hardware. M8x1.25mm ~40mm long.
