HELP! I twisted off one of my intake manifold studs
so i was trying to inspect my fuel injectors earlier and when i went to tighten my fuel rail back down i over torqued it and twisted off 2 of the 3 studs that the fuel rail is bolted down with. so now when my car is running it slowly leaks gas out of the fuel injectors because they're not seated correctly. how hard would it be to replace the studs in the intake manifold? if the studs dont' come out or can't be replaced i was just going to use some JB quick weld. any suggestions?

all bow for He-Man, dude your a beast. you should have went for all 3 hehe, you may be able to drill them and use an easy out, depending on how tight you cranked them

Re: HELP! I twisted off one of my intake manifold studs (doublejz)
*EDIT*
i went out there and tried pull out the stud. now i realize that i stripped the threads on the nut so it just keeps turning in place and not unscrewing out. i'm just going to take a dremel and cut a slit into the top of the stud and try to unscrew it out. if anyone else has a better suggestion please tell me.

vice grips man, clamp then on as tight as you can, and unscrew it with those, That usually works for me, but the stud will need to be replaced, because you will **** up the threads. Goodluck
