1995 Honda Accord: Got the old alternator out... can't get the new one in.
This is the non-vtec version. Almost every tutorial I've come across for my car and the year is for the vtec engine. I have the shop manual but I'm just not getting it. I think it was luck that got the alternator out for me. It doesn't help that my hands are so ******* large either. Has anyone come across a video for the alternator installation before? Or any step by step with images? I'd really appreciate anyone's knowledge on this. Thanks!
What is your issue with the install? Getting it to fit into the bracket?
If that is your issue, check the steel sleeve in the right portion of the top half, the sleeves move inwards and pinch the alternator when you put in the mount bolt. You will have to move it back over to the right when dropping in another alternator if it has shifted.

Step 1) compare both alternators to see if they are the same...if both alternators are the same proceed to Step 2)
Step 2) describe exactly what the issues are that you're having trying to get it to mount to the bracket

Is the alternator on the 95 like my 92 under the power steering pump? First time I did mine I somehow got my alternator out without taking the pump off. Putting it back on was a different issue. If that is the issue, take that sucker off
I got it back in the day after I posted this thread. What happened was so silly. I put the bolt in that the alternator pivots on and was trying to get the adjusting bolt in the bottom part. I didn't realize I could pivot it up several inches so I could actually see the bolt hole... Anyway it went in just fine after that.
