a thick cloud of white smoke. Its bad enough that you cant see the vehicle beshind you. At low rpm there is no smoke and car runs good> Anu help would be appreciated thanks

Your piston rings are going. If not already. Or piston ringlands cracked...something with ur piston/rings are broken letting oil up threw the head and threw the exhaust valves and burning oil is normally white.

 

I wonder why it only does it at high rpm and not all the time?

 

You don't have as much pressure on the engine. For all we know it could smoke a tad you just don't see it because its not enough. At 4k rpm vtec engages fully which flows more oil to the head and at that rpm you have already build enough crankcase pressure.
