i pulled an erroe code 12 and 3 on my d16 i now know the d16 doesnt have an EGR so would i be getting this code? could it be mistaken as 3? my check engine light blinks very dim and its hard to tell whether it pauses or just keeps blinkin. my SRS light stays blinking while running the codes? any ideas?

 

Why do you keep starting new threads for ongoing issues for the same unfolding problem? This is at least 3 now.

its not the same issue its an error code i got since i actualy got my car started! i havent said any thing about a distributor or getting spark from a distributor or timing a distributor sure its my fault i have issues with my car i would like to get sorted out so why dont you buzz off and do what you do. if you dont have a solution dont imply your opinion. or if you do have a solution and would like to be so kind and give your opinion please do but i suppose i already know your opinion it would go something like.......... quit starting threads about the same issue your flooding the forum.

 

simplex ur ecu might be a for d15z1 cause vx has egr but has vtec done deal find urself a p28 ecu and stop making extra threads thank you

 

well how do you find out what ecu you have and how am i supposed to figure out anything if i cant start new threads about it. isnt posting threads what a forum is for? to help people or get help with problems that arrise one after another. nobody is going to look at a thread that has already been delt with or doesnt have anything to do with a new problem.

and befor i switched out my HARNESS and DISTRIBUTOR i never had a CEL i never changed my ECU and all the connections are wired back how they were. plus the harness i got off of a d15 most likely didnt have an EGR and i know forsure didnt have VTEC because i had to wire VTEC myself

Since it is becoming extremely evident you are less than knowledgeable about your car than you should be, how about post a video so we can see what codes are being thrown?

This thread is just another part stemming from the original issue you posted about your car. The last two threads were about the distributor issue and car not starting which you claimed were BOTH caused because of an o-ring.

The core issue was that you somehow set your car on fire and EVERY issue you've had since then stems from poor attempts to fix the damage.

Only one damn thread was ever needed.

 

no first i wasnt getting spark then then the spark plug wires were wrong then it was the o ring. lol it dont even matter anymore im trying to get the video up right now so keep your eye out.

 

And all of that because your car caught fire.

I've done worse. I cant get the video uploaded ill keep trying but its a 3 manifold absolute pressure sensor and I cleaned the map sensor but it still shows up maybe its the #2 oxygen sensor but I only have one oxygen sensor and its on the header

are you using the correct ECU ?

 

p06 from a 92-95 dx. I know its supposed to be a p28 but before all this occurred I never had a CEL and its all the same beside the harness and dizzy and its all wired up the same, is the SRS supposed to be going off like that?
