I've been reading that the Greddy turbo kits don't respond well after turning the boost levels past 10 psi. Evidently when trying to increase the boost past 10 psi or so with a boost controller the boost will drop off at higher rpm levels.

I picked up a Greddy turbo kit for a RSX K20a2. It uses the Greddy T517z turbo that has an internal wastegate.

I'd like to run past 10 psi with this turbo and am wondering if there is a "upgraded" actuator or other alternative that won't bleed boost off and will allow the turbo to hold 13 or 14 psi of boost consistently.

I haven't heard back from Greddy and I spoke to atpturbo but they don't carry items for Greddy turbos, yet I found this on there website for a gt28r.

I'd like to keep the setup fairly simple and avoid switching to an external wastegate setup if possible...

What you're showing is the standard GT28R upgrade. What most do with that turbo is convert to External gate because of the fact that finding that long of an actuator rod is not easy to find. Not sure if you're going to find an answer to this one.
