I'm troubleshooting a problem starting my car. See this thread.

A new question I have is how to properly reset the immobilizer? The last time my car wouldn't start I read online that you could lock/unlock your car with the FOB and that would reset the immobilizer. IT WORKED!

But this time that isn't working. When my car wouldn't start this time the green key was flashing. After several attempts to start my car the green key no longer flashes.

Is there anything I can do to reset the security system? I want to rule that out. It seemed to work last time.

I have cleaned the battery terminals and left the battery unhooked for a while, doesn't help. All electrical stuff works fine. Please let me know if there's another way to reset the immobilizer.
