Anti/Theft weird way to turn my car on?
Hey a couple of months ago I bought an accord from someone who said it had some special "Anti theft" He programed in the car. To begin with its an h22 in a 98 accord swapped from auto to standard. But to turn the car on ATM I have to...
1.turn the key all the way until the battery is on and the warning lights
2. Hold the clutch then push the gas in twice(This makes the check engine light pop up twice)
3. Now I can turn the car on.
If I do not follow these steps the car will sound like it wants to turn on but it wont.
Is there any way to switch this to turn on like a regular car? To just push the clutch in and gas?

if it works why not leave it, other then you just told all the resident lurking thieves how to start your car, you are basically asking how to bypass an anti theft to make it easier for a thief to steal your car?
The reason is sometimes when i turn my car off after driving the check engine light stays on for a couple of minutes and it will not turn on until the light disapears as when i push the pedal the check engine light is suppose to pop up. And no i dont have the reader to read the problem why the light is on after i turn my car off after rides

do you take your belt off before or after removing the key, I've seen anti carjack systems like this, if the key is on and you remove your belt it may be going into anti carjack mode

I would guess the "relays" or "control unit" will be under the dash on drivers side, look for wiring that is not stock/OEM and fallow them.
Because the clutch and gas are used I would look at the CIS and TPS, [WOT position lead]. 94
