Help need code to start radio in ontario?
It should be in the owners manual if you have it, also check the door post. You can also try hold down the 1 and 6 buttons and turning on the radio, that should give u 2 codes, a lower number and a upper number. Then just call the dealer and get the radio from then.
If that does not work, then you need to remove the radio and get the vin off it and then call the dealer and give them the number.

If it's a first gen CR-V if you can't find the code written down somewhere (it's often written in the owners manual or on a sticker inside the glove compartment like others have mentioned) you'll need to remove the radio and get the serial number off the back, take this number (or just take the radio itself with you), along with proof of ownership to your local Honda dealer and they will get you the radio code.

You have four options to finding the code.
1. The code is posted on the back of the radio. To get to it you need to remove the radio. This should be you last resort.
2. On my 2004 CRV radio, the code was printed on a sticker in the glove box.
3. There was also a sticker (usually dealer supplied) that is either stuck to or placed in the owners manual. My 2004 CRV had this also.
4. If all else fails, you can take your VIN and radio serial number to a honda dealer, with proof that you own the car, and they can look up the radio code. I had to do this once for my 1999 CRV.
Hope this helps.
