Urgent help with trans/electrical problems.
A few days ago I was three blocks from my house when my transmission started acting up. Felt like I had to rev the nuts off of it in order to move it. I got it home. Looked it over. The trans fluid was pink, smelt alittle burnt. Maybe alittle hint. It was light red/pink. I let it cool off, went back out and it acted like nothing had happen. Its been doing it for a few days now. I was thinking it was related to my TPS check engine code/D4 light. as causing issues with my trans computer. I was also told that my VSS could be throwing my TPS off, and my computer. My VSS is disconnected becauuse we forgot to uplug it when we were removing the trans. I have pictures of the wires, it looks like they were just pulled from the plug. No big deal. I also filled my trans up. It looked like it was half full. Today I drove it to work, no issues. On lunch she started acting up on the way back to work. I had to pull over. Then she wouldnt go out of park, then I lost all gauges, except the fuel. Then I got her back to my parking spot and the windows wouldnt roll up. None of them. Can anyone tell me what the **** I need to do?
from wat i can find online theres 4 possible codes it could be: p0122 p0123 p1121 p1122. all havign to do with the throttle position circuit. if u have access to an obd2 reader that would narrow it down, theres alot of electrical test to do.
I read a code 7 from the TCU (Trans) - Shift control solenoid A.
Get the vss hooked up.
Then I would address the TPS code and the Shift Control Solenoid A code and see what you have from there.
