Default Toronto Area: Looking for Hondata Stage 4 users/chip burners

Anyone know of any? I know of people with Hondata setups, but I'm looking for someone with chip burning and tuning experience. Lemme know. Thanks in advance!

There is a guy named Paul who runs a company called Neetronics. Canuck MX-6 went there, but he said Paul tunes the cars very rich and doesn't have a wideband o2 or dyno. He subsequently went to Tapp Auto in Ottawa and was very happy with his work. I dunno if you want to drive that far though.

Scott - 93 HB Si from this board is located in Milton and has a Stage 4, but I'm not sure if he has tuned any cars yet.

Yeah that's what I mean Kevin, we were looking for someone other than Paul because he doesn't have the experience/rep....probably 5-6 users

Paul tunes conservatively. He has a wideband, but it only has a hand held readout, it does not have logging capability.

He is a good guy and will go out of his way to help you, but you will not make the most power with his tuning.

Yeah he did my ecu, he uses techtom not hondata. But $200 an hour it gets damn expensive.

Plus all the Horror stories that I have heard first hand of lousy tuning and blown motors, just ask SW20 MR2, or Tony the Tiger. I would never take my car to Yoshio

It's makes good power...just want to change it up. So there's no one with the experience in the area? Just Ottawa? Hey actually I met you at the KK meet a few months ago didn't I? I had the Red SR-V...black guy, blue teg?

Ummm, my vote goes to Stephen if/when he comes up here. :D I know Scott is away for the next 3-4 weeks or so, but you may want to talk to him when he gets back. He's as good as backyard mechanics get, but I know anything about his Hondata/tuning skills.

My only other thought would be Johnson at Ultimate Racing. He is a guru with standalones, but I'm not sure if he would be willing to learn/tune the Hondata. Then again, if there are 5-6 of you, there's a lot of money to be made for someone. Just call him.

Although he's a nice guy, Yoshio is a money-grubbing bastard who lacks any semblance of good customer service skills. I wouldn't recommend anyone going to him. I used to, but not anymore.

I think it could have made more power....it's still pretty rich. Want to change it up. So there's no one with the experience in the area? Just Ottawa? Hey actually I met you at the KK meet a few months ago didn't I? I had the Red SR-V...black guy, blue teg?

Very nice! Unfortunately no one wants to go that far for tuning....but if a group deal could be reached and the guys go up when it's convenient it may be doable....hmmm

There are a few good tuners in the area, but they are often extremely busy and/or very expensive. Also, the market here is nowhere near as mature as the U.S. market. There are more and more people starting to do more hardcore stuff like fully-built FI and NA setups, but even up until a few years ago, it wasn't that common.
