Icon2 motor swap help

Ok so I know this has been asked before but I have yet to see a legit clear answer. I am about to get a crx for a daily driver and I want to add forced induction for fun on the weekends. What motor would be best for this. I have heard about dc dohc b16 b18 ls vtec gsr etc. I don't have an unlimited budget but will save for something worthwhile since this will be my daily driver. Again, I know this has been asked often but all the forums I read were really old and not very specific so any help would be appreciated. I had a cb7 f22 but crxs seem to offer greater potential for power to weight ratio.

If it's an SI with a healthy D16A6, boost it! Small, responsive turbo to put down 200whp will be a blast on the street and should hold together just fine with a proper tune. Go here and read, read, and read: https://honda-tech.com/forums/forced-induction-16/%2A%2A%2Aforced-induction-forum-faq%2A%2A%2A-1024174/

The reason why you aren't seeing/reading a legit clear answer is because that is such a broad question to begin with. Simply put, there is no best motor for this.

How much money can you budget towards this?
How much power are you looking to put down?
What kind of weekend abuse are you planning?

No such thing as "best". See my sig.
The first thing you should be asking yourself is if the engine is healthy.
