i have a 99 civic hatch it has a lsv in it right now with si engine harness and p28 with a step down... i just bought a b16a2 out of a ek4 which i belive is obd2a what all do i need to do to make this work right.... some people say use my si harness and get a p2t but i dont want to use my si harness since its all cut up and i dont want to spend money on stuff i dont need since i can spend it on building my lsv do i need a si harness and p2t or will the ek4 harness and ecu work ?

 

Help the engine is going to be here next week and i want to make sure i have everything to drop it in and roll

 

Si harness with P2T ecu, cleanest most proper route.

Both OBD2 ecu's wont have many if any tuning options.

 

If its a right hand drive harness you can't use it either way. Can't use OBD2a in an obd2b chassis and vice versa unless you swap cabin harnesses as well.

+2 what ever swap your doing you use the harness in the car or same year and adapt at the ecu if u want to jump down.. to obd1
