I bought a d16y7 motor to use in my 94 civic and was plan on using the d15b7 intake since I staying obd1 but once I got the y7 intake off I noticed the coolant port was round the one on the b7 and its kinda square dont thinke it will work . I have seen some people say you can use the b7 intake on the y7 but I am not sure it will any insite on this

you're better of using a Y8 intake if you really don't like the look of the Y7 one. i'm not sure you can use that b7 one even.

Yea I used a z6 on the y7 motor.
Get the intake gasket for the intake and all should be fine.

i don't know but i do not see how the hell that would work... i am familiar with the coolant port you are referring to but i do not see a square port and round port sealing regardless of what gasket it used...someone know for sure??

I've done it. When you line up the gasket to each side there's just barely enough overlap to make a full seal. If the Y8 manifold has the same shape port as the Y7 port then it might be worthwhile to find one but really it's just peace of mind. Good luck either way
