Just swapped the motor from a base rsx. I kept the ep3 intake. The compression is good on all cylinders. It won't idle/run smooth and will bog out at wot. No cel. Just put new plugs in it. It has good power under a load until you hit wot then it dies. Does anyone have anything I should check out to fix the issue?

did you keep the same throttle body that the car used when it ran ok?

 

Yes. After searching for hours and double checking for vacuum leaks and wire connectors. I think it may be that one of the guys helping me put the defouler on the primary o2 sensor instead of the secondary. It's acting like its dumping fuel.

 

Took the defouler off the primary and reset the ecu and still the same troubles.

 

Does anyone have any ideas?

 

with no dtc showing up that's def weird. does your check engine light show up when u turn the key? just to make sure

 

The light comes on when I turn my key on. It was throwing a code for the primary o2 sensor so I bought a new and and it runs a little better but not like it should. Still dies when you mash the pedal.
