Intake fuel pump for 600+hp?
did alot of searching and all i can find is people running dual 255's or a 255 with a bosch 044 inline combo.. in the middle off a build and shooting for 600ish hp on E85 using 1600cc injectors.
Will the walbro 416 pump support this kind of HP? i really dont want to run a intake AND a inline.. like to keep things as simple as possible.
Thanks in advance

Thank you Muckman, yes in tank, not intake LOL loooooong day. And im glad YOU responded, between you and a few others on here I know when yall answer, it is 100% accurate. will be ordering the 416. THANK YOU!
i've seen a car make 616whp with the walbro 450lph drop in pump and id2000's on stock lines and stock filter on e85, but injectors were pretty much maxxed out.

Care to elaborate on the Bosch pumps? I have a 92 integra I'm currently upgrading the fuel system on. On e85 with Precision 1200's and a Walbro 255 it made 357 on a Mustang Dyno maxing out the injectors. Stock lines and rail and a 1,000,000 mile old fuel filter.

What about the AEM pumps. I think I read a post that said they made high 500's on just 1 of them. True? So then, 2 and some better plumbing should take one way past 600whp, right?
If you run the 416 or 450 be sure to run at least 10 gauge wire and a 50 amp fuse. The contactor on the typical 30 amp will run hot and fail over time.
when you guys say need aftermarket fuel line, are you saying all the way from the pump to the regulator/rail or just run aftermarket from the line in the engine bay at fuel filter to regulator/rail?
I would also like to know more about bosch pumps.. ive looked online and all i can find is either inline or a 255 stayle in tank.. am i missing something? ALSO! were is everybody buying the bosch 1600cc injectors.. googled the crap out of it and looked at MANY aftermarket sites and havent found anything that big except ID's
ok. Thanks for the answer. What size is best? im sure with fluid flowing in the lines the correct size is important. Does the bigger line require more pressure? only reason i ask is because of experience in the past with brake lines, changing size would change the action of the brakes greatly
Hydraulic pressure is different than fuel pressure, much more psi in hydraulic systems than fuel systems. Besides that's what a good fuel pressure regulator is for.
With fuel line I start at -6 and move up the scale depending on power goals and fuel requirements. The question I'd like answered : Are banjo fittings suitable for a 450 whp -6AN application? I've never used them in the past, but I may have to on this 92 Integra.

The Bosch 044 will also do it, it's a tried and true product, granted the price point is somewhat high but I myself have never heard of a unit failing.
A very good friend/shop owner had his 30 amp fuse fail. I originally thought 10 ga and 30 amp would be enough per the walbro spec. but it seems as if people are having some trouble with tha set-up.
